The Group actively explores and establishes a new business model of health care industry that has coordinated development of health care and eldercare.

As one of the earliest enterprises that expand its business into eldercare industry, the Group cooperates with Longlife Holding Co Ltd, a renowned listed company of Japan, in community eldercare, senior citizen products and eldercare services. The two sides established Hiking Longlife International Eldercare Center at Qingdao in March 2012 and the eldercare center with first class facilities integrates advanced concepts and management model from Japan with traditional Chinese culture and implements comprehensive, intelligent and family style management. In November 2015, the two sides set up another joint venture Shandong Hiking Longlife Care Operation Co., Ltd. to extend the eldercare industrial chain to eldercare service consultation, personnel training and entrusted management etc.

Hiking also entered the health care and life science sectors. Qingdao LIPOGEMS Biotechnology Co Ltd, a joint-venture subsidiary of the Group, cooperates with experts from the USA and Italy and gets the exclusive franchise and production of the medical appliances related with SVF technique. The Group cooperates with Yongsei Hospital from South Korea to establish a high level joint venture hospital in Qingdao. Hiking plans to realize integrated development of its health care and eldercare business and expands along the industrial chain of the health sector to take up its corporate social responsibility of serving the public and benefiting the society.
