Integrity, as one of our valuable intangible assets, is what we care about more than gold. Since its foundation, Hiking Group has been putting integrity at the top of its business philosophy. Integrity is the last thing we have to abandon.

Confucius said in the Analects, “I do not know how a man without truthfulness is to get on.” The Chinese nation has the traditional virtue of being trustworthy in word and resolute in deed. For Hiking Group, integrity is a valuable intangible asset more precious than gold. Building a consensus on integrity and establishing a system of integrity will bring inexhaustible power for us to build a respected and century-old leading enterprise.

●Integrity is the cornerstone of our development and the foundation for our growth.

Integrity is a kind of wisdom, and a good reputation comes from credibility. Since its foundation, Hiking Group has been placing integrity at the top of its business philosophy—“integrity and innovation, win-win cooperation, pursuing leadership rather than a giant”. Integrity is the last thing we have to abandon.
Since its inception, Hiking Group has been abiding by laws and regulations, social morals, business ethics, and industrial rules. Relying on standardized operation and management and a proper risk control, we have established good credits with banks for tax payment and contract performance, and have become a strategic partner with head offices of many banks. Hiking Group has been recognized as the “Enterprise with the Best Bank Credit in Qingdao”, “Excellent (AAA-level) Credit Enterprise in Shandong Province” and “Level-A Credit Tax Payer”, which have promoted the group to grow in many business aspects.
We honor contracts and keep promises to customers and partners. Guided by the concept of integrity, Hiking Group has not only achieved healthy and stable development of various businesses, but also developed deep friendships with numerous customers and partners, thus creating a good reputation of integrity and a brand image of honesty.
For our group, integrity is never perfect, but always in progress. Integrity is always the cornerstone of our development and the foundation for our growth.

●Integrity is a soft power underpinned by hard power.

Integrity is related not only to morality but also to the system. To consolidate the foundation of integrity, we should establish a holistic system nurturing integrity.
We should focus on the key points, master the critical few issues, strengthen the assessment and establish the integrity boundaries through publicity and education on integrity and laws. We should further standardize various business processes and strictly manage all aspects of business development from proposing to planning, implementing, managing and evaluating projects. We should further improve the corporate governance structure, adhere to the open and transparent decision-making procedure, collaborate on important issues before making a final decision, and form a supervision and check-and-balance mechanism at the management level. In our internal assessment system, we incorporate integrity into the performance assessment, advocate and reward honest and trustworthy behaviors, and restrain and punish untrustworthy behaviors.

●Integrity is reflected in words and deeds.

Honest employees are a critical ingredient of an honest enterprise. Integrity is reflected in every employee’s words and deeds. All employees of the group should act with integrity in every little thing and every aspect of work and life.
Every Hiking employee should embrace integrity at workplace. In the face of personal interests and corporate interests, they should not cheat, nor should they act opportunistically or seek petty profits. Hiking employees should be reliable, honest and trustworthy at any time and in any place.
For a manager, integrity means treating colleagues and team members sincerely, living what he teaches, fulfilling responsibilities, keeping promises, and winning people by virtue.
If a leader keep his promises to team members, the team will be united and invincible; if a leader often acts untrustworthy, changing his decisions from time to time, the team will be discordant and won’t achieve great things.
All Hiking employees should put “integrity” into practice through every little thing and make it a culture in the group, so that it will become the cornerstone of our development, the code of our conduct and the key to our success, and will bring an inexhaustible power for us to build a century-old leader with a long-lasting business foundation.
