Hiking Group held Mid-year Conference of 2011

　July 20th to the morning of 21st, Hiking Group held the Mid-year Conference of 2011 at Qingdao Regency Hotel. President Zhang Jianhua attended the meeting and delivered an important speech. According to the schedule, managers from each company and functional division of Hiking Group made work reports on their performance against their management objects in the first half of this year and steps to improve themselves in the future. This is the first time that the Group calls on such large scale work report meeting. Upon hearing reports, Mr. Zhang gave an important speech. He said in the first half of this year, the 21 subsidiaries which have set budget targets, have completed 56.46% of the whole year’ estimated profits. At the same time he also pointed out that business environment of the second half of this year, is much complicated and tough with more disadvantages and uncertainties. Therefore, we should further implement the overall work ideas “change modes, adjust structures and enlarge profits”, set the priority on implementation, make efforts to focus on implementation intensively and skillfully. Then Mr. Zhang raised the following instructions. The first is to strengthen the responsibility awareness with emphasis on the implementation of culture of responsibility; the second is to strengthen efficiency and quality awareness with emphasis on the implementation of work measures; the third is to strengthen assessment and monitoring systems with emphasis on operating objects. All in all, we should make every effort to guarantee the completion of each task.

　In the morning of 21st, the conference held mass training on rules and regulations, during which, vice-president, Li Junxiou explained "Hiking Group Overall Budget Management Approaches" systematically.
　
    In the afternoon of July 11th, as an important part of Mid-year Conference of 2011, the Group held a work report meeting of various division executives of its headquarters. During the meeting, the executives reported and were commented and graded by Group leaders on site.
