    In the morning of April 2, Chairman Zhang Jianhua went to Hiking Longlife Elderly Care Service Co Ltd to coordinate its work. Upon hearing a work report presented by Zhang Yansong, general manager of Hiking Longlife Care Service Co., Ltd., Mr. Zhang pointed out that the eldercare industry is a new business of the Group in recent years; it has been more than three years since the planning of the company in 2008. In November 2010, Hiking Group and Nissay Group from Japan established a joint-venture Hiking (Qingdao) Longlife Care Service Co., Ltd., and the business model and corporate structure of the company were defined at that time, and the Edinburgh International Eldercare Center project became the first project of the company which is also the first Sino-foreign joint-venture eldercare service project in Qingdao.

    After many years’ exploration and practice, we are increasingly aware of the social demands and huge market potential for the eldercare industry; it is a correct decision to set foot in this industry. We practise good deed which is in line with our corporate object “Pursuing of Excellence, Dedicating to the Society” and is also a manifestation of the corporate vision “Dedication to Life Quality”. Then, he also urged the company to accelerate the preparatory work of Edinburgh International Eldercare Center and pay close attention to marketing and staff training to ensure its official opening on October 5, 2011.
