Qingdao Zhongmian knitting was founded in 1994 as a joint venture between Sojitz from Japan, Hiking Group and JIFA group (the biggest knitwear factory in China).

The factory has three production bases in Shandong province with a total of more than 2000 workers. The factory has on-site weaving and dyeing facilities serving the fabric needs from all three production bases. Its annual outputs are 1700tons for weaving, 2000tons for finished fabrics and 8 million pieces for garments.

The factory is currently servicing two leading fashion brands from Japan, UNIQLO and Mizuno. Major products include underwear for mens and womens, sweat shirts, fleece jackets and knitted workwear. The factory has a strong fabric development capability and is strong at polyester, poly/cotton blends. Its fabric testing through rate has been maintaining at 99.95% for years.

To diversify its market and customer portfolio, the factory has started penetrating into USA market since 2013 and was accredited WRAP certificate for two consecutive years. The product range for USA market is same as Japan, i.e. underwear, sportswear and workwear.
