In the afternoon of June 15, 2015, a delegation led by Yu Xuejun, supervisory board chairman of Export- Import Bank of China, visited Hiking Group to study the development of the international trade business of Hiking and Qingdao Foreign Trade Supply Chain Service Platform for SMEs. Mr Li Jian, Assistant to President of Export-Import Bank of China (EIBC) and President of Shandong Branch of EIBC, Chen Ying, director of Qingdao Banking Regulatory Bureau, and other relevant officials accompanied the visit.
Mr. Zhang introduced the overall development of the group, the international trade operation in recent years, the development strategy of the group in future and the methods to prevent operation risks and the results before he briefed the guests the overall development of the service platform for SMEs expressed appreciations to the support and help EIBC has granted to the group. As an initiator of the SMEs Service Platform, EIBC has provided 200 million RMB to the platform and facilitated many SMEs to benefit from the financial support of the bank. At present, the platform has established cooperation relations with over 5,000 SMEs and the annual export volumes of over 300 SMEs have been expanded from less than 100,000 USD to over 1 million USD under the support of the bank. The platform has become an incubator of SMEs in foreign trade sector and accelerated their business development.
After he learned the risk preventive approaches of Hiking Group in large commodity operation and the operation of SMEs service platform, Yu Xuejun spoke highly of the risk control and the building of the SMEs service platform of Hiking Group. He pointed out that the establishment of SMEs service platform adapts to the demand of marketization and specialization, in the next stage, after it is incorporated with the internet and cross-border e-business, the platform will have a better development and EIBC will grant great support as usual to the platform.
Li Jian said to support the export business development of SMEs and to promote the export and import growth are important obligations of EIBC. As a national policy bank, EIBC further intensify support to SMEs service platform and help more SMEs in foreign trade sector expand their business through the platform.
