Officials of Shandong Department of Commerce inspect Hiking Group

In the morning of June 15, a delegation led by Director of Shandong Department of Commerce Wang Hua and his deputy Sun Jianbo came for a visit to inform themselves on the business situation as well as on difficulties and problems. 
Chairman of the Board Zhang Jianhua gave an overview over the group’s general development, this year’s imports and exports and the international trade platform. He raised the issue of encouraging labor-intensive industries to shift from the developed areas in the east of Shandong to western Shandong villages and towns in order to cut labor costs and fuel export competitiveness. Sustaining policies should be established as soon as possible to strengthen cross-border e-commerce. He also proposed to better endorse the largest import and export enterprises and to use the supporting function of policy banks like China Exim Bank.
Wang Hua praised the company for its ever healthy and sustainable development and its trusteeship for ten state-owned enterprises. In difficult operative situations, Hiking was able to break new paths by reform and innovation, setting an example for the business system.
