Hiking becomes top 50 taxpayer of Qingdao for another time

2013 Qingdao Local Taxpayer Top 50 was announced; Hiking Group hit the list again, ranking in No. 45 place. Li Qun, the Party chief of Qingdao, and Zhang Xinqi, the mayor of Qingdao, presented plaques to the top 50 taxpayers. Zhang Jianhua, chairman of Hiking Group, attended the awarding ceremony.
Zhang Xinqi delivered a speech at the meeting. The mayor said enterprises are the main subjects of market economy and taxation is the barometer of the economic development. The Top 50 Taxpayers paid nearly 1/3 of the taxation of the city and provided nearly 1/5 of employment of the city, showing a steady and good economic and social development of the city. The mayor hoped the enterprises can make persistent efforts to make even greater contribution to the economic transformation and development of Qingdao.
