Hiking Group held 2014 Work Conference at Qingdao Regency Hotel January 14. Zhang Jianhua, chairman of Hiking Group, delivered a speech and the general managers of each subsidiary summarized their work in 2013. The leading officials of the group and the executives of each functional department of the group and each member company attended the meeting.
In his speech, Mr. Zhang first commented on the work reports of some general managers and then reviewed and summarized the work of 2013. He pointed out that facing with severe situation, all staff of Hiking under the overall guidance of “Transformation of Growth mode and Adjustment of Structure to Improve the Overall Development Quality and Economic Return of Hiking Group” spared on effort in implementing each work tasks and boosted the steady development of the group. First, the business operation of the subsidiaries realized stable development; second, the assets structure of the group is further optimized and the finance cost is significantly reduced; third, the employee share management is regulated to further improve the distribution system; fourth, the growth model is changed, the economic structure is adjusted and the business operation level of the four sectors of the group is further enhanced; fifth, the internal management and the Party construction work is further strengthened. And Mr. Zhang proposed the overall work ideas of the group in 2014: Further improve the operation efficiency and economic return to boost the healthy and sustainable development of the group. In 2014, the group will further enhance the fine management to improve the business operation efficiency and the economic return; study the national policies and measures for comprehensively deepening reform and foster new growth engines to realize healthy and sustainable development of the group.
Zhang made work arrangement for 2014 in seven aspects. First, continue to promote the establishment and implementation of “Three Five” strategy. Second, further optimize the assets structure and reduce the financing cost and operation expenses. Third, accelerate the transformation and upgrade to forge new advantages in international trade.
