At the meeting, Liu Mingjun, vice mayor of Qingdao, pointed out that folk diplomacy is a major form of foreign exchanges and an important channel to go international and attract foreign investment as well. The Friendship Association shall give full play to its advantages, serve the overall situation of Qingdao’s opening-up in a better way, combine the folk diplomacy with investment attraction and strengthen friendly exchange and talent introduction to increase the popularity of Qingdao.
