 On April 14, a destructive earthquake measuring 7.1 on the Richter scale has attacked Yushu County in Qinghai Province, Hiking Group issued at once a notice, calling on all staff of the group to make donation for the disaster-stricken siblings, nearly 150,000 Yuan were donated in several days. On July 14, the group donated 370,000 Yuan to Yushu earthquake-stricken area through Qingdao Welfare Fund for the Handicapped, and the money would be earmarked to build a recovery station for the disabled. This is the largest donation Qingdao Welfare Fund for the Handicapped has ever received for Yushu earthquake-stricken area in the year. On August 18, the staff at the headquarters of Hiking Group donated 14,650 Yuan for the victims of the mud-rock flow geological disaster in Zhouqu, Gansu Province, which is another practice of the corporate objective of Hiking Group “Pursuing of Excellence, Dedicating to the Society”.
