On April 14, a powerful earthquake measuring 7.1 on the Richter scale has attacked Yushu County in Qinghai Province. Hiking Group issued at once Notice on Launching Donation Activity for Yushu Earthquake Area, calling on all staff of the group to make donation for the disaster-stricken siblings. On July 14, on behalf of the group and its entire staff, Zhang Jianhua, chairman of Hiking Group, donated 370,000 RMB to Yushu earthquake-stricken area through Qingdao Handicapped Welfare Fund, the donated money is earmarked to build a disabled rehabilitation station for the disaster-stricken area. This is the largest donation Qingdao Handicapped Welfare Fund has ever received for Yushu earthquake-stricken area in this year.
