From June 27 to 28, the Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and premier Wen Jiabao made an inspection and survey on the economic operation and employment in Shandong Province. In the evening of June 27, the premier presided over an enterprises symposium at Jinan. Chairman Zhang Jianhua of the group was invited to attend the meeting. This meeting is one of the important activities of the premier’s Shandong visit. Secretary of the CPC Shandong Committee Jiang Yikang, the governor of Shandong Province Jiang Daming, and members of the standing committee of the CPC Shandong Committee, as well as executives from 16 enterprises in Shandong attended the meeting.
